Sweepings is a performative video by Emilie Crewe and Jesse Walker created at the Full Tilt Creative Centre in McIvers,
Newfoundland. This piece is a site-specific installation made in the barn at Full Tilt. The work was created during a
collaborative artist residency hosted by Colette Urban. Sweepings consists of the resident artists gathering a heap of
hay and then deconstructing and reconstructing the pile as the piece goes on. The work was shot on video in the space and
then projected onto a linen cloth.
Sweepings was part of an exhibition titled, This is Not a Picnic: New Work by Emilie Crewe and Jesse Walker
