Chicken Shit, 2007
Chicken Shit addresses issues concerning traditional gender roles, female stereotypes, and consumer culture. The main character, a housewife,
prepares an uncommon dinner of baked chicken stuffed with unusual objects. Through the physical act of stuffing a chicken, my intentions in
this piece are to create an allegorical figure through outward sexual connotations (the exploration of the chicken orifice), with underlying
threads of violence, and apathy towards consumption.
